Priscila Dorneles was found lying on her bedroom floor by her sister at home in Brazil following cosmetic surgery – she had three operations at the same time
A beautician died after having three cosmetic operations at the same time and was found by her sister lying on her bedroom floor.
Priscila Dorneles is understood to have had the multiple surgeries at the same time so she could recover more quickly and save costs.
The beauty clinic owner had been hoping to get back to work quickly but tragically was found lying on her bedroom floor by her sister at her home in Inhumas, in the state of Goias, Brazil, on February 28. Priscila had undergone fat removal (liposuction), a breast lift (a mastopexy) combined with implants, and scar correction shortly before she was found without vital signs.

When emergency crews arrived, her sister was performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation in an attempt to revive her. The Fire Department said Priscila was unresponsive and showed no signs of life, with no breathing or heartbeat.
Paramedics continued resuscitation efforts as they transported her to a Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA), a public emergency care unit, but she could not be saved.
Priscila was a biomedicine graduate and the owner of PD Clinic, an aesthetic clinic in Inhumas where she lived. Her death prompted tributes on social media from friends, family and clients.

The Civil Police said the case has been registered and forensic examinations have been requested. The police station in Inhumas is investigating the causes and circumstances of the death.
Her wake was held on March 1 at Pax Alianca in Inhumas, while PD Clinic shared a message online following her death, stating: “Forever in our hearts. Rest in peace.”
Her husband, Luiz Henrique Lopes, also paid tribute in a social media post, writing: “I will miss you so much, my girl. I believe you are in paradise. Where you are now there is no pain, no crying, no illness. I loved living life with you.”
Although it is not too uncommon to have multiple cosmetic surgeries performed at the same time to reduce overall recovery periods, medical experts warn that longer operations can increase risks.
Combining procedures means extended anaesthetic time and longer surgery duration, which can raise the likelihood of post-operative complications such as infection, bleeding and blood clots.
The investigation is ongoing.
