Donald Trump says Iran wants to ‘make a deal’ to end the conflict

Iran’s permanent mission to the United Nations has urged member states to condemn the attacks by the US and Israel, calling for an end to the ongoing conflict with the country.

In a letter, Iran’s ambassador to the UN, Amir Saeed Iravani, accused the US and Israel of deliberately targeting civilian areas, including densely populated zones and non-military infrastructure.

According to Iranian media reports, at least nine hospitals and around a dozen emergency clinics have been damaged, along with residential buildings in cities such as Tehran and Sanandaj. Historic sites, such as the entrance to the Tehran Grand Bazaar, Golestan Palace and Iran’s oldest radio building, have also been struck, as well as at least three sports centers.
