The Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) has received ₹14.54 crore as part of a one-time Grant-in-Aid (General) sanctioned by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the financial year 2025–26, to clear its pending liabilities.

The sanctioned amount issued by the Directorate General Defence Estates (DGDE) on Monday (March 2, 2026), is part of a larger allocation of ₹221.84 crore released to 48 deficit Cantonment Boards across the country.
