Devotee from Goa dies of heart attack outside Gokarna temple

A 76-year-old devotee from Goa died of a heart attack after visiting the Sri Mahabaleshwar Temple in Gokarna of Uttara Kannada during the Mahashivaratri celebrataions on Sunday.

M. Rathnakar collapsed after coming out of the temple.

The police shifted him to a hospital, but he did not survive.

Family members told the police that he had undergone heart operations twice in the past.
